About Get Placed

Hey there! Get Placed is a cool project that we have been working on to make the job hunting process way easier for students like ourselves.

The Problem

If you're a student, you know how overwhelming it can get when the placement cell starts bombarding your inbox with job emails every single day. It becomes such a mess trying to keep track of all the opportunities, deadlines, eligibility criteria and so on. We've definitely missed out on some great openings just because they got buried in our inboxes.

Our Solution

That's why we built Get Placed! It's a nifty little platform that takes all those overwhelming placement emails and organizes them in a way that makes total sense. Using some smart language voodoo, it extracts key details like company names, roles, stipends, CTC, CGPA cutoffs etc. and displays them in a slick, easily browsable format.

How It Works

  1. We integrate Get Placed with a backend server which is connected to gmail API so it can automatically fetch all the placement emails.
  2. Using Large Language Models, it identifies and summarizes the key details from each email.
  3. Important details from each email are summarized and presented in a crisp card layout
  4. For roles you're interested in, just click to view the full email and access the application links or directly apply using Apply button.

It's as simple as that! No more cluttered inboxes or missed opportunities.
